It's probably a stupid question but, should the front speaker lengths be the same. One speaker is approx 4m away from the amp, the other is virtually right beside it. Will the MCACC on my receiver allow for it. I have bought a 5ch Rotel amp and will be hooking it up hopefully next weekend. It's rated at 250 wpc. I want a WFS one day but 5K is beyond me at the moment. I will be upgrading my jumpers from standard to something better, not sure what as yet. I have to also obtain interconnects obviously as well. The front speaker cable will be upgraded first in relation to the other speakers.
I thought this was a better forum to ask on compared to Polk, as most people here have been there done that.
I better mention what my HT system consists of:
Fronts: RTiA9 Center: CSiA6 Surrounds: FXiA6 Rears: Proson Sub: SVS PB 12 NSD Receiver: Pioneer SC-LX86 Amp: Rotel RMB-1575 TV: Cheap ass 55" Have also got some RTiA3's to put somewhere one day
Cheers Mark

Won't matter much on speaker cables. As long as the one closest to the amp doesn't have the wire coiled. If you have say a 12 foot run of cable hooked up to a speaker 3 feet away from the amp, your inclined to coil up the excess cable which can act like a radio antenna and pick up some nasty audio artifacts.

Thank you for replying Tony. I had a feeling that would happen to the coiled up excess if I went that way.
