I am looking for a Sound bar for my living room. I am currently running a Yamaha Receiver with a Polk RM7600 system, but I am wanting to do away with it and just go to a soundbar. Do the bars require a special type of subwoofer or would Ibeable to just buy a Bar and use my current Polk subwoofer?

I can help with this Trav... we sell them at work. Perhaps we can work out a trade for the RM7600's. I have the 7500's already, but will need a few more of the satellites and the sub when I get done putting together the man-cave.

I'm not a soundbar fan myself, but I would say stay away from the Polk soundbars as they seem to have far too many issues going on. Look at Def Tech's soundbar, but also budget will play a roll.

I have heard good things about the Yamaha bars. But yes, I am definitely shopping on a budget.
