Can you make an CXU play through stereo analog outs without the TV on? Synology says it's not available to my streamers my Qnap works fine. I kind of don't care but I dressed up the Synology with a bunch of iFi stuff.

I have a Cambrige CXU Universal player that cuts off when you turn the TV off. I can't find the manual to figure it out. I only use it for music, stereo and surround.
I also have a Synology NAS that is no longer recognized as a music server by my CXNv2 streamer. It wasn't always like this and I don't know what changed.
Das ist nicht nur nicht richtig, es ist nicht einmal falsch!

Bruce, I'm thinking your best bet is reach out to Cambridge.

I used the stream magic 6 and then the 851n and both saw the NAS but the app was quirky to say the least! Your unit I think is a decent one so calling Cambridge here in the states will probably be a good bet! And I have only owned Synology with great success so Reaching out to them might get some results ??

I remedied the situation by unplugging it. My "Qanon" NAS is good enough.
