I had that same truck, but white, finally died at 325,000 miles. The Japanese really know how to make a car last.

Yep, Toyota or Honda for me, and I have both. Just sold my 1996 Lexus es300 with 208,000 on the clock and never did anything other than scheduled maintenance to it. Had the original battery up to 140,000 miles, same with the windshield wipers. The wipers still worked good but were starting to get ragged around the edges. The new wipers didn't work nearly as good. Still had the original exhaust too, quiet as can be. Even with over 200k on it, it drove and road better than a lot of new American cars.

I've seen pictures of some of the loads Gary has put on this truck and that in itself is a testament to the reliability of it. What a shame our US auto manufacturers let Japan surpass their reliability.

Gary you forgot to add the thousands of pounds of BS its carried when your driving.
Just messing. LOVE toyota's. Really want a FJ Cruiser for my next car. Then want to pimp it out with a nice motor and some other goodies.
If I dont end up with one of those, hoping to get a Jeep 4x4. Kinda want to get into off-roading...
