Anyone discover a new toy that blows your sack back ? If so, what ya got cookin' ? Bobcats!!! Damn those little beasts are fuckin' cool!
I had one out at the house on Tuesday, and it ripped out 4 loads of shit from my back yard, 7 foot deep each, and 30 feet long! Now I can finally build something out ther ethat will add some beauty to my home instead of the 50 year old pile of crap that the previous owners left behind.

Anyone discover a new toy that blows your sack back ? If so, what ya got cookin' ? I tried to use a hairdryer to do that once. It wasnt strong enough Actually the coolest thing I've played with her lately is the BOZOS preamp I bought off Rich. Its my first small step into DIY as I've got a couple things to finish up (making my own chassis's, wiring additional outputs) Speaking of which John (I will call you later this weekend if you dont respond), how much did it cost to get your amps pinstriped? I'm thinking something similar but on a wooden chassis.

Tony man you ain't kidding, "some changes" is an understatement, from amplification to cables to source components I can say without a shadow of a doubt that EVERYTHING matters and can have either a positive or negative impact on a system. My big system went from sounding ok to being a showstopper, ask anyone I've had put ears on it and they will tell you it just sounds amazing. The Yaqin, what a little shit disturber. It can hold it's own against a 120wpc receiver and come back for more. Colour me impressed but I think I've now reached a point in my audio journey that I'm willing to experiment with things a bit more. No tube rolling yet as I need to find a local source if I can, but when I do....I'm eying Mullard EL34s for the power stage

Cool man, nice to see you have your DR. Frankenstein hat on and are willing to experiment further. What you've learned so far, imho anyway....
Clean power matters Cables matter All watts are not created equal Tubes baby....and my favorite,
EVERYTHING MATTERS !!
See, now if we told you all that a year ago, you would have thought us audio snobs, full of shit....and some still do on the Polk forum. Try shit for yourself as I always say, the proof is in the pudding.
I've got some MIT S3 IC's on the way to me to play with. Hopefully their better on the top end than the EXP's.
