This time in Iowa. Prayers for the victims and their families.
Not going to soapbox just now, but we all know what happens when seconds count, right? Same shitty story, different day.

Is this a trend of rabid narcissist brought to you by government schools?

Thankfully the victims who were wounded are all expected to survive, though the 11 year old boy did not. Also thankfully, the alleged shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot (about the only good part of this).
I was a bit surprised that an AR-style weapon was not part of this; rather, the report is he used a pump shotgun and a small caliber pistol? Still begs the question, how did a 17 year old come into possession of ANY types of weapons? I thought gun control laws prevented such things... this sort of tragedy usually serves to give the anti-2A crowd resolve to try to ban ALL weapons regardless of style. Time will tell.
What amazes me, at least around here, is that there are many schools that still do not employ armed security. As the anti-gun group always brays - how many more of these tragedies must we endure??? Well, maybe DO something about them before they happen. I would suggest to school boards around the country that there should be a mandate that for every dollar spent on "Gun Free Zone" signs, they should budget at least 30 times that for biohazard cleanup kits and yellow caution tape for the inevitable aftermaths of such shootings.
